Change – The Delta Factor

Ask any Experienced Executive Leader or a Seasoned Business Manager;
What are the main factors to be successful in Business? Mostly they
will say and agree that Vision, Courage and Determination are the
three main factors for success. Which means having a crystal clear and
compelling Vision; Courage to take the steps needed to achieve the
milestones towards the Vision and the determination to keep up the
steps to achieve the desired Vision. Which I agree is true to its last
word. But there is another very important factor which is very
essential to achieve the desired results in the business world.

The fourth factor, which I would like to call the Delta Factor, is
'CHANGE'. Alas this factor is often overlooked or taken for granted,
but if we are to understand the importance of this factor and empower
it we can achieve the abundance of success with much ease and even
beyond our Vision. Winston Churchill Quoted " To improve is to Change,
to be perfect is to Change often ". In today’s disposable economy,
what is hot today is not tomorrow and if we want and wish to be
successful leader, then just having the vision, courage and
determination alone will not help but we need to learn the art of
change to its perfection.

Within every person is an innate resource of inexhaustible and potent
potentiality that will; if we let it, enable us to achieve our life’s
ambitions and to achieve them without the stress and strain, the ups
and downs of traditional thinking normally associated with successful
leadership. If we truly desire to be successful in business, if we
truly desire to step out of line and build something creative, if we
truly desire to mold our own life and create our own destiny; as long
as it is true desire, not just fanciful dreaming without deep inner
desire means we have the innate ability to achieve it.

The biggest problem any of us have in business is ourselves; our
attitudes, beliefs, fears and limitations. The one problem we all
have, at various differing levels, is to get ourselves out of our way;
our egos, our fears, our false or limited thinking to allow the
greatness of our potentiality to flow from within and take form as the
great success we dream to achieve. I believe our greatness lies in our
willingness to Change so we need to keep refining, be a lifelong
learner, ambitious, and focused on our personal and professional
growth to release the imprisoned splendor within.

Do we have the guts to grow our business in a new way, or will we stay
stuck in the quicksand of same old way? Are we ready to make that
Leap? Are we ready to Change?
